Tria laser removes hairs by emitting pulsed light that is absorbed by the pigment melanin in the hair shafts buried beneath the skin surface. This damages the hair follicles and temporarily delays hair growth. Although it may appear that after the hair removal treatment with the Tria the hair continues to grow, in reality the hair inside each treated follicle is slowly ejected from its follicular bed in the skin. Normally it takes 2 - 3 weeks for hairs to be ejected from the damaged follicles. Each subsequent hair removal session leads to lesser hair re-growth and at the same time, the hair that re-grows is progressively lighter and finer.

Tria Laser Hair Removal System can be used by men and women. However, please remember that the Tria hair removal laser is safe only in people with lighter skin tones and further on, Trial only removes the hair effectively, when applied to naturally brown or black hair. Tria laser does not work on naturally white, grey, blond or red facial or body hair. These hair colours are too light for Tria to be effective.
Tria hair removal laser is not for people with medium brown, dark brown or black skins. It is also not suitable for use on tanned skins, including naturally tanned skin or after using a self-tanning system. This is because the Tria laser targets the pigment melanin in the skin and the hair. Melanin is the pigment that gives the skin and the hair its natural colour. People with darker skins have larger amounts of melanin than people with lighter skins. Hence, treating people with darker skin with the Tria Hair Removal System could lead to skin injuries, such as burns, blisters, discolorations or scars.
In short: For the Tria Laser to be effective, you should have a lighter coloured skin and a naturally darker (i.e. brown or black) hair on the areas to be treated.
For best results, Tria Laser should be used regularly. You can use the Tria laser on the same area of the body every 2 - 4 weeks (i.e. every 3 weeks on average).
